The action is still going strong at the annual Bar & Club Convention and Restaurant Show here at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We’ve had people come by from some of the trendiest nightclubs in New York and Los Angeles, and some of the finest restaurants in cities across the country. We made sure to take the opportunity to expand on how local business owners can use the internet to their advantage for their advertisement needs. It’s becoming obvious that no matter the demographic, buisnesses of all kinds are realizing that CityWaboo is the way to go. When it comes to the consumer, CityWaboo is providing a place to network with friends to review the buisnesses of the area, thus creating a personal reviewing system more dependable than the reviews of a stranger.

CityWaboo was on-the-scene in Las Vegas today at day one of the annual Bar & Club Convention and Restaurant Show. Thousands of bar, restaurant and club owners came by to hear how CityWaboo could help them create buzz and word-of-mouth for their establishments.” There’s a lot of talk at the show about how local businesses can use the Internet to increase their customer base, with several educational seminars teaching how to use social network, email and other online tools to get the word out. It was the first public appearance for CityWaboo, and the presentation and display was well received. Over 1200 people at the convention visited the exhibit and were very responsive to the CityWaboo crew. “We definitely stood out from the crowd!” says President of CityWaboo, Armen Akopyan. Hundreds of CityWaboo T-shirts were given out to some of the coolest DJs and bartenders from the hottest spots across the country. CityWaboo members will start to see a lot more information, reviews and special offers on the best places to go.

Time to blow off some steam…
